“Kostalas” Building
This installation explores the relationship between humans and the sea, highlighting the eternal struggle with the aquatic element and the symbols that reflect it. Shells, as remnants of an ancient communication with the sea, and fishing cues, which connect humanity to the watery world, become instruments of discovery.
Fishing nets, symbols of capture and entanglement, stretch into the unknown like the myths that shape and confine human experience. In the installation, the floating forms drift between presence and absence, while in the video, Venus’s creations and concrete shells become traces of a world suspended between reality and imagination. Through the merging of the real and the mythical, the sea leaves behind marks of salt and memory, forming a universe where truth and myth coexist across time.
